Portrait and a Dream is a 2018-2022 Istanbul based band and 2021 debut album from drummer Mehmet Ali Simayli, released from Swiss record label Unit Records.The album was in Bandcamp Daily's Best Jazz List and got reviewed with five stars in magazines such as JazzTimes and Jazz and More. Istanbul based group played in various festivals such as Istanbul Jazz Festival, Zorlu PSM Jazz Festival and Gumusluk Jazz Festival.
